Meditation is must for those who are battling anxiety and hypertension.  It helps in relieving stress and improves the quality of sleep, which further helps us feel well and lead a happy life. It’s a practice through which you can recharge your batteries and feel calm.

To meditate, you should sit comfortably and start focusing on one idea, object or even your breathing. Initially your mind will wander. Try not to stop it, release it. Try not to suppress any emotions or thoughts and let these pass. Once done your mind will automatically return to your object of focus. Now your mind will be at peace.
